Christina Aina-Marie Andersen

Christina Aina-Marie Andersen, 79, of Scaly Mtn., NC, passed away March 29, 2026. Christina was born February 5, 1947, in Brooklyn, NY to the late Alfinn Andersen and Margaret Ahlgren Andersen.

Christina was of the Lutheran faith. She loved to quilt and sew, and was a fan of the Florida Gator fan and Atlanta Braves. Christina was an animal lover; she also loved the mountains especially Highlands and Scaly Mtn.

She is survived by her partner, Mark Thomas "Flounder" Harris; a son, Donald Rader (Jody); daughter, Kimberly Cheshire (Joe Faino); grandchildren, Paige Thomas, Nick Almstead, Chance Cheshire and Riley Cheshire; great-granddaughter, Amrae Jade Thomas.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Andersen.
