Claire Janice Eismont Miers

Franklin, NC - Claire Janice Eismont Miers, age 89, of Franklin, NC passed away Monday, September 15, 2014. She was born in Cuyahoga, Ohio, the daughter of the late Nicholas M. and Addie Kunkel Eismont. She was married 60 years to Stanley Miers who died in 2006. She was a legal secretary for US Court of Appeals, 6th Circuit.

She is survived by a daughter, Rev. Patricia A. Young of Glendale, AZ; a son, Kenneth Miers of Kalispell, MT; five grandchildren, Anthony, Nancy, John, Wayne and Stephen. Seven great-grandchildren also survive.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 19, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Fouts and Rev. Patricia A. Young officiating. Burial will be held at Clarks Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

A reception and visiting of friends will be held after the service at the Church.
