Connor Slade Calabucci

Topton, NC - Connor Slade Calabucci, age 12, of Topton, NC passed away, Wednesday, November 21, 2012. Born in Cherokee County, he was the son of Craig Callabucci of Daytona Beach, FL and Bobbie Prince of Andrews, NC. He was a 7th grade student at Nantahala High School; an honorary member of Nantahala Bear Hunters Club and attended Aquone Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Barbara Wilson Prince of Topton, NC; stepfather, John Stewart of Andrews, NC; three sisters, Alyssa, Dannah and Rebekah Stewart of Nantahala, NC, and one cousin, Tyler Cable of Nantahala, NC. He was preceded in death by a half brother, Hunter Cope.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Townson Rose Funeral Home in Andrews with Rev. David Postell officiating. Burial will be in Aquone Baptist Church Cemetery. Nantahala Bear Hunters Club will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 3:00 pm, two hours prior to the service at Townson Rose Funeral Home.
