Dale Davis Scott

Franklin & Bryson City, NC - Dale Davis Scott, age 62, of Bryson City, NC & Franklin, NC went to be with the Lord Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Swain County Hospital. He was born in Macon County, NC the son of the late Wiley and Louise Shuler Scott. He was a self employed painter by trade. He was a loving and devoted husband and father.

He is survived by his wife of four years, Barbara Ann Cook Scott; one daughter, Angela Scott McLean & husband Greg of Franklin, NC; three sisters, Annie Rae Angel and husband Homer and Joyce Hoark and husband Larry of Franklin, NC and Ruby Earls and husband Al of Macon, GA; one brother, Zeb Scott and wife Dorothy of Franklin, NC; two grandchildren, Jessica and Makayla of Franklin, NC.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 26 at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Cogdill and Rev. Bennie Haire officiating. Burial will be held at Watauga Baptist Church Cemetery. Gary Scott, Dennis Scott, Ricky Scott, Timothy McClure, Mark McClure and Mike Johnson will serve as pallbearers.Mike Stamey, Gregg Earls, Ricky Earls and Jeremy Stepp will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, June 26, one hour prior to the service, in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Deep Creek Baptist Church, PO Box 597, Bryson City, NC 28713.
