Dana Dewayne Pierce

Dana Dewayne Pierce, 61, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Dana was born November 17,1964 in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO to the late Robert Edward Pierce and Ollie Phillips Pierce. 

Dana served in the US Air Force for four years and was stationed in the Philippines. He was a baseball fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Atlanta Braves and a fan of all Tennessee Volunteers sports. Dana loved the beach, especially Florida beaches, he had a love for dogs and he loved grilling and fishing. Dana loved his family and was a loving dad, grandfather, brother and uncle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Pierce and a sister, Rhonda Pierce.

He is survived by a daughter, Hannah Jones (Aaron); grandchildren, Oliver Jones and Andrew Jones; two brothers, Randy Pierce (Debbie) and Gary Pierce (Joy); sister, Gwen Swafford (Mitch); many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with military honors will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Chattanooga National Cemetery: 1200 Bailey Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37404.
