Daniel David Houston

Daniel David Houston, 58, of Franklin, NC passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015.  Born in Macon County, he was the son of Mildred Buchanan Houston and the late Harley Houston.  He was a builder.

In addition to his mother, Daniel is survived by a daughter, Amanda Houston of Franklin and a son, David Wayne Houston of Hiawassee, GA; five grandchildren, Ethan and Madison Riddle, Averie Moore, and Brayden and Corbin Houston and one brother, Larry Houston and wife Julia of Pisgah Forest. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mitchell Houston.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Alton Dendy and Rev. Greg Rogers officiating.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:45 ‑ 2:45, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
