Danny Michael Estes

Danny Michael Estes, 77, of Franklin, NC, passed away June 1, 2025.  Danny was born April 26, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late William Algin Estes and Ruth Estes.

Mr. Estes worked as a telephone lineman and was a Christian by faith.  He loved to read the Bible and watch Christian TV shows. Mr. Estes served in the US Marine Corp for four years and then  the Army National Guard for 20+ years as a Master Sargent and did two tours in Afghanistan. Danny was an avid golfer, he hit a hole in one at Franklin Golf Course. He loved gardening, and he loved his family and friends.

Survivors include his companion of 43 years, Linda Aldrich; children, Bryan Estes (Amanda) of Franklin, NC and Greg Estes of Burnsville, NC; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William Estes.
