Danny Johnson

Franklin, NC - Danny Johnson, age 61, of Franklin, NC passed away Friday, August 2, 2013 in an Asheville Hospital. He was born in Macon County, the son of the late Walter and Laura Ellen Anderson Johnson. He was a roofing contractor. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and liked to hunt, fish and being outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Judy Phillips Johnson; four sons, Chance Johnson, Shaye Johnson, Nacomas Johnson and Brandon Reynolds all of Franklin, NC; two sisters, Eva Nell Clouse and husband Milbern and Margaret Childers all of Franklin, NC; two brothers, Billie Johnson and his wife June of Penrose, NC and Burt Johnson of Franklin, NC; one grandson, David Johnson. He was preceded in death by a son, David Henry.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 5 at 11:00 AM at Olive Hill Gospel Chapel with Rev. Barry Bowman officiating. Burial will be held at Joe Ground Family Cemetery. Sons will serve as pallbearers.
