David K. Duhl, Sr., age 57, of Franklin, NC, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016. He was born in Montgomery Co., Ohio, the son of Walter Lewis Duhl of Franklin, NC and the late Arlene Grice Duhl. He previously resided in New Carlisle, Ohio. He was a 1976 graduate of Trotwood Madison, and a USAF Veteran. He was preceded in death by his mother, and brother, Robert.
In addition to his father, he is survived by three children, David Jr. (Belinda), Danielle and Dustin all of Dayton, OH; sisters, Marianne Olsen of Franklin, NC and Maria (Bill) Crawford, New Zealand; five grandchildren, Ashton, Cheyenne, Alexander and Everly Duhl, and Jonathan Van Pelt, his close friend and ex‑wife, Robin Roddy.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the VFW Post 9684, 1587 Lake Road, Medway, OH from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.
