David William McGaha, born on September 1, 1958, in Franklin, North Carolina, passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 67.

He was a long-time resident of Peachland, North Carolina. David worked as a plumber at Southern Plumbing and Action Mechanical for many years. He was a loving husband and great friend. David enjoyed watching NASCAR and football with his friends and family on the weekends. He also loved his cats and dogs and enjoyed listening to country and western music.

David was preceded in death by his parents, JD and Lucille McGaha; and his brother, Danny McGaha. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Nesbit McGaha; his sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Ronnie Bates; his 2 daughters, Shonda Davis and Cassie Tallent; grandchildren, Breanna, Faith, and Nivia; stepdaughters, Rebecca Harvey and Racheal Eudy; son-in-law, Travis Eudy; and grandchildren, Joseph Stoner, Katie Medlin, Chance Medlin, Nevaeh Eudy, and Ava Eudy.

A service to celebrate David’s life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 1:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, located at 204 South Main Street, Monroe, North Carolina.
