Dean Russell Conley

Franklin, NC - Dean Russell Conley, age 44, of Tippett Lane, Franklin, NC, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2009 in an Asheville hospital. He was a native of Jackson County, the son of June Gregory Conley of Franklin, NC and the late J. L. Conley. He was a master carpenter, and loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Lacy Hopkins and Jessica Stiwinter both of Franklin, NC; his loving spouse, Jevonne Turlington, of Franklin, NC; one sister, Elana McClain of Rabun Gap, GA, one brother, Bo Conley of Franklin, NC; three grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 2:30pm in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home, with Rev. Roy Lowe officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Gibbs, Mickey Cooper, Mackey Lewis, Bruce Conley, James Conley, and Justin McClain. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Tuesday evening at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
