Delores M Levan

Delores May Levan, 85, entered in rest on December 13, 2016 in Franklin, NC, where she had resided in Franklin House Assisted Living Facility for the past year and a half. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene A. Levan on September 23, 2012.

Delores was born and raised in Muncy, PA. She lived in Venice, FL for 20 years and Whigham, GA for eight years. Wherever she was, she made many friends.

Delores was mother to Fay E. Young (Barry) of Whigham, GA; David Levan (Beth) of Venice, FL and Jerry Levan (Bonnie) of Otto, NC. She had eight grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandsons.

Her parents were Frank and Margaret (Lowe) Fenstermacher of Muncy, PA. She was the oldest of 10 children. Delores loved people, especially children, and worked with the cherub choir of Venice Nokomis United Methodist Church in Florida along with Wesley Schumacher for several years. She also coordinated the choir music and assisted the choir members. She played guitar and sang in her younger years loving all kinds of music.

Services will be held at the Galen Betzer Funeral Home in Muncy, PA on Tuesday, December 20th, at 12:00 pm.  The family will receive family and friends from 11 - 12:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at the Elimsport Cemetery.
