Franklin, NC - Delores Phillips, age 87, of Franklin, NC passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Born in Wayne Co. MI, she was the daughter of the late John and Genevieve Wegener Manneback. She was married to the late James Clyde Phillips for 47 years. She was a pharmacy assistant and was of the Lutheran faith.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by three daughters, Jennifer David of Hialeah, FL, Janie Provenzano of Franklin, NC and Dianna Davis of Sylva, NC; three sons, Mike Phillips of Houston, TX, James Patrick Phillips of Ocala, FL and John Mark Phillips of Houston, TX; fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Toni Elizabeth Phillips and two sons, Joseph Phillips and Mark Phillips.
No services are planned at this time. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
