Dollie Pressley

Franklin, NC - Dollie Pressley, 94, of Franklin, NC passed away Friday, April 12, 2013. A lifelong resident of Macon County, she was preceded in death by her husband Walter Pressley in November 1977. Also her mother, Martha Shuler; three sisters, Ethel Scism, Bonnie Poteat, and Louise Scott; one brother, Frank D. Shuler.

Survivors include two daughters, Christine P. Sanders (Earl), Barbara P. Tallent (Bill) both of Franklin, NC; four grandchildren, Tony, Mark, David Sanders and Lisa Tallent; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Per her request, graveside services will be held Monday , April 15 at 1:00 PM at Watauga Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Reeves officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, Macon Senior Services, 108 Wayah St. Franklin, NC 28734.
