Donald Roger Williams

Franklin, NC - Donald Roger Williams, age 50, of Franklin, NC, passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 in Asheville, NC. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Gertrude Wich Williams of Franklin, NC and the late Lonnie Williams. He was a roofer and was an avid fisherman and hunter.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Breanna Williams Kirchman of Charlotte, NC; two sons, Brantly Williams and Roger Williams both of Franklin, NC; six sisters, Ingrid Biddix of Sylva, NC, Sylvia Williams, Cathy Burch, Elizabeth Neal, and Gloria Busby all of Franklin, NC and Gail Carpenter of Long Creek, GA; two brothers, David Williams and Johann Williams both of Franklin, NC; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home Thursday, August 25 at 7:30PM with Rev. David Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30PM one and half -hour prior to services at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
