Doris Paula (Helgerson) Presley

Mrs. Doris Paula Helgerson Presley, 74, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025, with her family by her side.

Mrs. Presley was born November 16, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John Helgerson and Ann Miller.

Doris loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her beloved dog, Kirby. She made all holidays and birthdays special for her family. She was very artistic in drawing and sewing. She was a very loving and outing person always seeing the good in everybody.

She was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Francis of Assi Catholic Church when she was able.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, George Presley of the home; a son, John Presley (Heather) of Moltrie, Ga; two daughters, Annette Flecher and Candy Presley both of Franklin, NC; nine grandchildren, Erika Moses, Jessica Williamson (Zach), Austin Holland (Kayla), Emily Presley, Jason Arvey, Jr., Heather Arvey, Meghan Presley, Bailey Wyckoff (Steven), and Brooke Arvey; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, James Helgerson of Ohio.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Presley was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Kaden Moses.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held by the family.
