Dorothy Ann Dodd

Franklin, NC - Dorothy Ann Dodd, 92, of Franklin, NC passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013. Born in DeKalb County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Ada McDougal Dean. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Dodd, Sr.

Mrs. Dodd was a bookkeeper for a gasoline company; she was an artist and painted beautiful pictures and sang with The Sweet Adelines for 50 years.

Mrs. Dodd is survived by a son, Robert C. Dodd, Jr. of Franklin and a granddaughter, Sarah Dodd Verizzo of Sarasota, FL.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at St. David's Episcopal Church in Cullowhee, NC.
