Eddis Margine Holden Patterson

Franklin, NC - Eddis Margine Holden Patterson, 91, of Franklin, NC passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in a Sylva nursing home. Born in Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Norman E. and Martha Jane Dehart Holden. She was married to Calvin S. Patterson, who preceded her in death.

She was a court reporter; a member of the National Association of Social Workers and was a member of Cowee Baptist Church.

Mrs. Patterson is survived by a sister, Dorothy Shope of Franklin. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle Shepherd and Pearl Potts, and three brothers, Coburn, Gardner and Paul Holden.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm, in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Fish officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Howard Teem, Wade Shope, Lonnie Shepherd, Vaughn Shepherd and James E. Shepherd.

The family will receive friends Friday, from 1:00 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
