Eden Madelyn Cochran

Ms. Eden Madelyn Cochran, 35, of Franklin, NC passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025. Ms. Eden was born in Jackson County, NC, February 6, 1990, to Steven Cochran and Regina Henson.

Ms. Cochran graduated from Franklin High School in 2008. She was very devout and enjoyed attending church at Shortoff Baptist Church in Highlands, NC. Eden also loved to sing and listen to music, particularly Gospel music and classic rock. She enjoyed artists like Toby Keith and Aerosmith. Ms. Eden was also fond of art and liked to draw and create pottery. She also adored animals of all shapes and sizes. She was a very social and joyful person.

Ms. Cochran was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Joe Cochran and Rev. Andy Cloer.

Survivors include her parents; her sister, Gabriel (Charles) Frye; her brother, Caleb (Krystin) Cochran; her grandmothers, Evelyn Cloer, and Syretta Cochran; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 13th, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Cochran and Rev. Steve Cochran officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Patton Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Cochran, Kent Cochran, Caleb Cochran, Tim Cochran, Taylor Davis, and Damon Cloer.
