Edith Keys Morris

Franklin, NC - Edith Keys Morris, age 87, of Sparta, NC, and formerly of Franklin, NC died Friday evening, October 10, 2008, at the Sunbridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sparta. She was the widow of Parker D. Morris.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jo and Dr. Thom Burleson of Sparta; two grandchildren, Baylen and Sarah Burleson of Sparta.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 16 at 2:00 PM at the Cowee Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Graveside services will follow with Rev. Lloyd Fish officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Alleghany County Educational Foundation, 85 Peachtree St., Sparta, NC 28675.
