Edna Belle Hall Stockton

Franklin, NC - Edna Belle Hall Stockton, age 96, of Countryside Drive, Franklin, NC passed away Friday, November 14, 2008 at a Sylva Hospital. She was born June 21, 1912 in Macon County. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lenny (R.L.) and Mary Rebecca Jacobs Hall. She was married to Wade H. Stockton who died July 19, 1977. She was a homemaker and was a member of Iotla Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Billy Joe Stockton of Franklin, NC and Maurice Stockton and his wife, Marilyn of Franklin, NC. Three grandchildren, Bobby J. of Cody, Wyoming, Renee Pruett and Mark Stockton of Franklin. Five great-grandchildren, Chelsea Pruett, Drew Pruett of Franklin; Kori and Wade R. Stockton of Cody, Wyoming, and Natasha Stockton of Franklin.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 16 at 2:30PM in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Alton Dendy officiating. Burial will be held at Iotla Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Stockton, Andy Pruett, Dave Pangle, Bruce Conley, Calvin Conley and Mark Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Emiko Stockton and four sisters.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 15 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
