Franklin, NC - Elaine Jauna Espinoza Velasco, age 84, of Franklin, NC passed away, Sunday, May 6, 2012. Born in San Diego, CA, she was the daughter of the late Jesus Francisco Espinoza and Rita Araila Cano Espinoza. She was married for 62 years to the late Victor Paul Velasco who died in 2007. She was a foster parent; a member of VFW Womens Auxiliary and was of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Velasco is survived by one daughter, Victoria Velasco of Franklin, NC; two sons, Richard P. Velasco and wife Carolyn of Vernonia, OR and Thomas Victor Velasco of San Diego, CA; three sisters, Estella Espinoza Ahumada, Evangeline Espinoza Tarado and Eva Espinoza Rodriques and four brothers, Mundy Espinoza, Ernest Espinoza, Elias Espinoza and Earl Espinoza; three grandsons; three great-grandsons and many nieces and nephews.
No services are planned at this time. Her cremains will remain in the possession of her loving daughter, Victoria.
