Elaine Phillips

Franklin, NC - Elaine Phillips, age 22, of Franklin, NC passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at a local hospital. Born in Jackson County, NC she was the daughter of Larry F. Phillips and Evelyn Williamson both of Franklin, NC. She was a waitress and cashier at B & D Restaurant; liked to camp, fish and hike and was a member of West Franklin Baptist Church. Elaine was a loving mother and daughter.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Jonathan Garrett Kresal of the home; two sisters, Veronica Phillips and Crystal Tallent Johnson both of Marietta, GA and maternal grandmother Pauline Williamson. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Odell Williamson and paternal grandparents, Roberta and Ed Phillips.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Carson Gibson and Rev. Bennie Hurst officiating. Burial will be in Iotla United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Mathis, Anthony Gravvit, Scott Moore, Steven Williamson, Seth Williamson, Jacob Bingham, Matthew Bingham and Gabriel Bingham. Honorary pallbearer will be Jessica Stiwinter. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
