Eleanor Louise Powell

Franklin, NC - Eleanor Louise Powell, age 51, of Durham, NC formerly of Franklin, NC passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Swain County, NC the daughter of the late Carrie Hall Powell and Richard Powell, Sr. She was a receptionist for the YMCA in Durham, NC. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Ayofemi N. Powell of Durham, NC; two brothers, Richard Powell, Jr and LeRoy E. Powell; three grandchildren, Bobby C. Waller, Ethan S. Waller and Kamylle C. Waller.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 18 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Purcell and Rev. Angie Purcell officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 18 from 12:00-1:00 PM at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
