Elinor Ann Tyson

Franklin - Elinor Ann Tyson, age 77, of Franklin, NC, formerly of St. Cloud, FL, passed away, Tuesday, November 20, 2012.

Born, December 30, 1934, in St. Cloud, FL, she was the daughter of the late Enoch and Avanelle Nourse Tyson and was a member of one of the pioneer families in the state of Florida. She graduated from St. Cloud High School in 1953; served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1961 in Okinawa and worked as Psychiatric Nursing Assistant in Veteran's Administration Hospitals until retirement in 1991. Elinor moved to Franklin in 2006 to be with her niece, Nancy Tyson Bichard and she was a member of Tellico Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Wayne, Chester Jene, and Herbert Tyson and is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private family memorial service will be held in St. Cloud, FL at a later date.
