Ernest "Bill" Gallenkamp

Ernest William Gallenkamp, III, 77, of Franklin, NC passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026. He was born February 26, 1948, in Eustice, Florida to the late Ernest William Gallenkamp, Jr. and Josephine C. Gallenkamp.

Mr. Gallenkamp was a Christian and Presbyterian by faith. He had lived in Franklin for forty-five years, moving here from Florida. During his lifetime he had many interests and businesses, he was a true entrepreneur. Bill was a good neighbor to all and was loved in his community.

He is survived by his son, Tim Gallenkamp (Rachel); a brother, Gary Gallenkamp (Sally); niece, Courtney Eaves and nephew, Mike Gallenkamp.
