Ernest Herbert Mason

Franklin, NC - Ernest Herbert Mason, 61, of Nicholson passed away on Monday, August 23, 2010 at the Athens Regional Medical Center. Born in Franklin, NC, he was the son of the late Erastus Herbert and Myrtle Hampton Mason. Survivors include his wife Lisa Mason of the residence; children, Stephanie Mason and Tiffany Plemens, both of Franklin, NC, Sara Mason and Nicole Pressley, both of Nicholson; a brother, Eugene Robert Mason of Franklin, NC and a sister, Janet Turk of Maysville. Four grandchilden also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Tellico Baptist Church, with Rev. Alton Dendy and Rev. Gary McCoy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 26, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
