Ethel Mae Tippett

Franklin - Ethel Mae Tippett 89 of Franklin, NC died Sat. January 12, 2008 in a Jackson County Nursing Home. She was a native of Henderson, NC, the Daughter of the late David and, Georgia Allison McFalls. She was married to the late Carl Virgil Tippett. She had worked for the Town Motel and was a member of Ridge Crest Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, Great grandmother and Great great grandmother. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Joyce Elaine Tippett and two grand sons Michael Tippett and Keith Waldroop. Three sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by two daughters Shirley Waldroop and husband Wendell of Franklin, NC and Barbara Stanley and husband Robert, of Franklin, NC Four sons Carl Tippett Jr.and wife Shirley of LaPorte City Iowa, William (Dub) David Tippett and wife Sandy Tippett of Franklin, NC,, Kenneth Tippett and wife Lorna, of North Branch, Michigan and Morris Tippet and wife Ann of Franklin, NC. One Brother Lloyd McFalls of Tryon, NC. 21 Grandchildren and 34 Great grandchildren and 12 Great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home at 2PM Tuesday January 15, 2008 with the Revs. Gary McCoy and Thomas Fouts officiating. Pallbearers will be grand sons. Burial will be in the Ridge Crest Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until8 PM Monday at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
