Etta Ellis
Etta Ellis, age 88, of Franklin, NC, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016. She was born in Macon County, the daughter of the late Edmund and Olive Burrell Crane. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Ellis a son, Mark Ellis, five brothers and two sisters. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by daughters, Linda Aldrich and Jackie Tilley both of Franklin, NC; grandchildren, Jeanette Dutton (Danny Davis), Kathy Manders, Shane Aldrich and wife, Melissa, Brett Aldrich, David Bowling (Crystal), Michael Bowling (Karen) and Richard Ellis; twenty‑eight great‑grandchildren, and three great‑great‑grandchildren; two sisters, Maggie Bell and Ethel Penland.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home, with Pastor Rusty Wolfrey officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
