Euna (Raye) Carpenter

Euna Raye Carpenter, 79, of Cullowhee, went home to be with the Lord Thursday September 8, 2022

A native of Macon County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Carl Farmer and Louise (Porter) Thomas.

Euna was a Member of Tilley Creek Baptist Church and was a loving spouse, mother and grandmother. She loved her entire family and especially loved when she got to spend time with her children and Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Billy Carpenter, her son; Timothy Carpenter and her great grandchild Caleb McFalls.

Euna Raye is survived by 2 daughters;

Sherry (Joe) McFalls of Cullowhee

Andrea (Michael) Prentiss of Covington, GA

6 Grandchildren; Chris and Brian McFalls, Kimberly Carpenter, Blake Carpenter and Hailey and Hollie Prentiss

8 Great Grandchildren

Sister; Sue (Ronnie) Holland of Franklin, NC

2 Brothers; James (Mary Ann) Farmer of Gainesville, GA, Jerry Farmer of Sylva

Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday September 12, 2022 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. David Powell officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Stillwell Cemetery.
