Eva Nell (Johnson) Clouse

Mrs. Eva Nell Johnson Clouse, 75, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 7, 2020. Mrs. Clouse was born in Macon County on December 29, 1944 to the late Jesse Walter Johnson and Laura Ellen Anderson Johnson. Mrs. Eva Nell was a homemaker that loved her husband, children, and grandchildren. She loved to travel many places. She was very proud to be one of the last founding members of Franklin Church of God.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Mr. Milbern Clouse; a daughter, Stephanie Ramsey; and a son, Dale Clouse (Brandy) all of Franklin, NC; Six grandchildren, Samuel Ramsey (Jessie), Hannah Ramsey, Avery Clouse, Katelyn Clouse, Madison Clouse, and Elijah Clouse.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Billie Johnson, Burt Johnson, Margaret Childers, and Danny Johnson.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2020 at the Franklin Church of God with the Rev. Philip Cochran, Rev. Hank Connor, and Bro. Eugene Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Watauga Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. until 2:30 p.m. prior to service. Pallbearers will be Dale Clouse, Ben Barnes, Derrick Hurst, Bryan Carnes, Barry Carnes, Shaye Johnson, Loyd Mashburn, and Nathan Gregory. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Ledford and Guy Clouse.
