Evlyn Cloer

Mrs. Evlyn Cloer, 85, of Franklin, NC went home to be with the Lord, January 26, 2026. She was born October 26, 1940, in Habersham Co., Georgia to the late Carolton James Littleton and Nelia Anderson Littleton. Mrs. Cloer was married to the late Rev. Andy Cloer for 64 years; he preceded her in death April 20, 2025. She was a loving wife and supported Brother Andy Cloer through the years in his ministry.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Eden who passed away August 10, 2025. She was also preceded in death by three siblings, James Littleton, Roy Littleton and Sylvia Littleton.

Evlyn was a homemaker and a member of Shortoff Baptist Church. She loved canning, gardening, and watching the Hallmark channel. She especially enjoyed her family and spending time with Eden.

Survivors include her daughter, Regina Cloer Henson (Heath); grandchildren, Gabriel Frye (Charles) and Caleb Cochran (Kristin); great-grandchildren, Ava Bell Dillard, Oliver Frye, Lucy Frye and Fayedin Higdon.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 29, 2026 in the Grant Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Evans, Rev. Phillip Cochran, and Mr. Caleb Cochran officiating. A private burial will follow at Patton Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Caleb Cochran, Tim Cochran, Phillip Cochran, Damon Cloer, Taylor Davis, and Heath Henson. Honorary pallbearers will be Oliver Littleton, Darrell Littleton Anthony, Littleton, and Betty Collier.
