Florence Mason Holt

Franklin, NC - Florence Mason Holt, age 67, of North Skeenah Road, Franklin, NC, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2008. She was a native of Macon County, the daughter of the late Earl Wilson Mason and Sadie Stockton Mason. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Holt, who passed away March 28, 1978, and one brother, Carles Mason. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Marie Holt Ledford and David Ledford and Melissa Gail Bryant and Rodney Bryant; one son, Joey Lee Holt, all of Franklin. She is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Wanda Mason of Franklin. Surviving also are grandchildren, Randy and Amanda Ledford, Rebecca Ledford, Kainen and Kelsie Bryant, one great-grandchild, Haylee Leddford, two nephews, Jacky Mason of Franklin and Chet Barlow of Morganton, NC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 6th at 11:00am at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Mike McConnell and Rev. Josh Brooks officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keith Mason, Mick Stockton, Harvey Hastings, Billy Ledford, Keith Mann, and Jim Jullian. The family will receive friends from 600 to 8:00pm Friday evening at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
