Frances Marie Dowdle

Franklin, NC - Frances Marie Dowdle, age 88, of Franklin, NC passed away Friday, November 6, 2009 at a local nursing home. She was born in Freemont, VA the daughter of the late J. Clifford and Lona Hall Dowdle. She was an inspector for a Ladies Apparel Manufacturer and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Dowdle, Kenneth Dowdle and Jay Dowdle. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 12 at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery with Dr. John W. Fowler officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 12 from 1:00-2:00 PM, one hour prior to service at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605 or to the Charity of one’s choice.
