Frances Louise McClure Lewis

Frances Louise Lewis, 86, of Franklin, NC passed away July 2, 2025. Mrs. Lewis was born December 5th, 1938, to the late Delwin McClure and Nanny Cheek McClure.

Frances enjoyed gardening, especially flowers. An animal lover, she adored the dog Buck and cat Miss Kitty. Mrs. Lewis was a member of Mt. Hope Church. Frances loved to make people laugh, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack William Lewis, as well as her sisters, Sallie Purcell and Jean Grant.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by her children, Missy Ledford, Keith Lewis (Peggy James), and Mackie Lewis; her brothers, Bud McClure (Barbara) and Bunny McClure (Elizabeth); three grandchildren, Luke Hunter, Samantha Ledford, Dale Lewis and his fiancé, Angelina Gu and her daughter, Angela Yuxi Yan, and two great grandchildren, Rylee Rogers and Gauge Vinson.

The family would like to thank Four Seasons Hospice and Faye Leatherwood for all their help in caring for Frances.
