Franklin, NC - Frances Siddaway O'Donnell, born in Cleveland, OH, February 28, 1915 passed away on June 11, 2013 at 2:30 a.m. She was 98 years old. She married Edwin O'Donnell in 1935. Her husband preceded her in death in 1988.

Frances is survived by one son, Lee O'Donnell and wife Barbara; two granddaughters, Deb Gravatt and Terri Garcia, and two great grandsons, Alex Garcia and Andy Garcia. She moved to Florida in 1947 and then to Franklin, NC in 1971. Her remaining 12 years, she was a resident of Brevard, NC. In her lifetime, she helped many people. She was a Grey Lady at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL and served as a Pink Lady at Angel Community Hospital in Franklin, NC. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Franklin. She took care of many family members in their time of need. Anyone who knew Fran described her as energetic, kind, and helpful.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. David Beam officiating. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Hospice of Brevard, 1266 Asheville Hwy., Suite 5, Brevard, NC 28712.
