Frank Xavier Bubacz

Mr. Frank Xavier Bubacz, 81, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Mr. Bubacz was born April 1, 1939 in Chemung County, NY to the late Andrew and Catherine Witucki Bubacz. He was married to the late Joyce Bubacz for 53 years until her passing in 2013. He was a retired carpenter by trade. He loved music and bowling. He bowled the first 300 games at Franklin Lanes. He liked to watch football and he had an amazing sense of humor. Frank spent his final years caring for his home in Franklin and loving his dog Prometheus.  He was also a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Tawn Bubacz of Clyde, NC; four sons, David Bubacz (Dulce) of Cary, NC, Dana Bubacz of Sylva, NC, Shannon Bubacz of Asheville, NC, and Shawn Bubacz of Cullowhee, NC; six grandchildren, Dylan Frederick, Deacon Frederick, Christopher Bubacz, Laura Walton, Kevin Bubacz, and Shawna Bubacz; and a brother, Matthew Bubacz (Jane).

A private service will be held at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
