Fred Sanders, Jr

Fred Sanders Jr., of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Fred and Mattie Leona Stamey Sanders. He was married to Peggy Belcher Sanders. Fred was a member of Black Mountain Baptist Church, he was a very loving father and loved his family dearly he also loved to fish and raise cattle. He is preceded in death by a son Steven Sanders; four sisters; and 3 brothers. In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters Debbie Lynn Sanders Fouts and husband Nick, and Vickie Elaine Sanders and husband Jim all of Franklin; one son Dennis Sanders and wife Angela of Franklin; seven grandchildren Autumn Mason Pangle, Sean Mason, Zac Mason, Hope Benton, Katie Davis, Eli Burton Luke, Chandler Rubye Luke; and seven great‑ grandchildren Gavin Cunningham, Rylee Cunningham, Blaine Pangle, Keegan Pangle, Cameron Mason, Caden Mason, and Cole Mason. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Black Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Don Moffitt, Rev. Kale Stancil, and Rev. Phillip Cochran officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Zac Mason, Shawn Mason, Caleb Benton, Jimmy Hall and Keith Talley serving as pallbearers. Gene Sanders will serve as an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, August 10, 2015 at Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home.
