Fredrick Glenn Henry

Franklin, NC - Fredrick Glenn Henry, age 79, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in an Asheville hospital. He was born in Pickford, Michigan, the son of the late Glenn and Edna Brown Henry. He was a US Army Veteran, and was a recipient of the Purple Heart during the Korean War. He had worked for the State Mental Health Clinic in Pontiac, Michigan, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing, and was a member of the Kiwanis of Franklin.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Julia Ann Wood Henry, two sons, Patrick Henry and wife Carlene of Waterford, Michigan and Jeff Henry of Franklin, NC; a brother, Ernie Henry and wife Linda of Texas, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Henry and a brother, Keith Henry.
