Geralene (Stiwinter) Henry

Geralene Stiwinter Henry, 83, a native of Franklin passed away on May 14, 2022 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Bessie Stiwinter and the wife of the late Howell Henry. Geralene retired from Macon County School System as a Teacher. She loved traveling and reading books. She is at home now with her Lord.

Geralene is survived by two brothers; Lavaughn Stiwinter (Karen) and Dean Stiwinter; her daughter, Sherry Vinson (Ronnie) and her son Chris Henry and the late Jill Mann Henry; three grandchildren, Ashley Vinson Webb (Nathan), Katelyn Vinson and Evan Henry (Andrea); three great grandchildren, Anna, Austin, and Andrew Webb; many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be at 3:00pm Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Moffitt officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00pm-3:00pm at Bryant Grant Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the St. Judes Foundation or Adult & Teen Challenge of the Smokies, PO Box 2157 Franklin, NC 28744.
