Franklin, NC - Gertrude Mary Cleveland, age 90, of Franklin, NC passed away Thursday, May 15, 2008 at a local nursing home. She was born in Hamden County, MA, the daughter of the late Harry B. and Gertrude Jane Newton Cleveland. She was a social worker and a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. She was a member of the Lions Club, Girl Scouts and The Grange.

She is survived by her friend, Barbara Gilbert of Franklin, NC.
