Girline Marie (Galliano) Oschmann

Girline Marie Galliano Oschmann, 81, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019.  She was born in LaFourche Parrish, Louisiana on February 23, 1938 to the late Paul Galliano and Gertrude Blanchard.

Mrs. Oschmann was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Franklin, NC.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She loved bowling and loved to travel the world, she loved camping and RVing.  She also loved Doberman Pinscher dogs, her Cajun culture and French language.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Oschmann, Sr. and a daughter, Theresa Hope Oschmann; a step-daughter, Kitty Oschmann Reed.

She is survived by a daughter, Veronica Murphy (Randy) of Franklin; a son, Bill  Oschmann, Jr. (Karen) of Arizona; a step-son, Kerry Oschmann of La.; a sister, Diana Willem; two brothers, Michael Willem and Karl Willem; eleven grandchildren, Alex Oschmann, Chelsea Leblanc, Fonda Doucet, April Oschmann, Dr. Krystina Carboni, Matthew Oschmann (Brandi), Casey Murphy, Sarah Garvin, and Mariah Ashe; and five-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 till 4:00 pm, prior to the service.
