Psalm 23 V 1-3
The lord is my shepherd ; I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green: pasture he leaders me beside the still waters. He restores my sole: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his names sake.
Gladys went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2025. She was an amazing human being, and everything she did, she did with great pride and purpose.
She was born in Havana, Cuba, and came to America with her mother, Maria Binkley, where they started a new life in New York. Although Gladys passed away in Highlands, North Carolina, her heart was always in Jupiter, Florida, where she lived for 49 years.
In 1976, she relocated to Miami, Florida, where she became an entrepreneur and opened her own hair salon, Georgie’s Place. As time passed, she blazed a trail as a contractor in Jupiter, Florida. Her résumé included projects ranging from commercial buildings to mansions spread across Palm Beach.
She was married to the love of her life, Vincent James Pace, the father of her children. She had a passion for Tae Kwon Do, earning her black belt and winning many medals. She also loved history and was an avid antique collector. Her home in Jupiter Farms, which she built from the ground up, was filled with treasured antiques.
She is survived by her four wonderful children: Diana Maria, Vincent James, Regina Ann, and the baby of the family, Kevin James. Her beloved grandchildren include Jennifer Lindsey, Jose Manuel, Christina Maria, Anthony Michael, Taylor Paxton, Emily, James Carson, Kylie, Kayden, Kyi, and Jamie Elizabeth. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren: Isabella, Liliana, Brooklyn, Braxton, Stella, Anthony Junior, and Victoria.
She will be laid to rest alongside her mother at the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery in Tequesta, FL
