Gladys Scroggs Lockler

Gladys Ann Scroggs Lockler, 77, of Mint Hill, NC, died Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Brighton Gardens of Charlotte.

Gladys was born in Tiger, Rabun County, Georgia, on March 8, 1948, the daughter of Russell and Elsie Curtis Scroggs. She graduated from Franklin High School with the Class of 1966. Gladys married Richard L. Little Sr and together they had a son, Richard Little Jr, both of whom preceded her in death. Gladys worked as an apartment property manager. When not working, she enjoyed shopping, caring for her dog “Cody”, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.

Gladys is survived by her two granddaughters: Savanah Michelle Little and Brandie Nichole Little; great grandchildren Nate Ellis, Skyler Ellis and Stella Anthony; and her siblings: Cathy (husband Chris), Jim (wife Gayle) and Linda. She is further survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

A family gathering will take place at 2:30 on Tuesday, October 21, at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Charlotte, where she will be interred next to her son, Richard.
