Gloria Dawn Munger

Ms. Gloria Dawn Munger, 59, of Highlands, NC went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 31, 2025. She was born November 23, 1965 to the late William Fred Munger and Madge Owens Munger.

Gloria was a lifelong resident of Highlands and was a member of Golden Corner Baptist Church. She loved going to the beach, all animals, and being with her family. Gloria never met a stranger and was very strong in her faith.

Survivors include her sister, Patricia Munger Nix (Lamar); brother, Ricky Eugene Munger (Sheila), and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Munger Henry.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, September 5, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Highlands First Baptist Church with Rev. Tim McCall officiating.
