Grace M. Fulton

Franklin - Mrs. Grace M. Fulton, 82, of the Clarks Chapel Community died Saturday, April 18, 2009 in a Franklin, NC Hospital. She was a native of Macon County, NC, the daughter of the late William Rowland Higdon and Georgia Lee Corbin. She was a homemaker and a member of Higdonville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 63 yrs., John Robert Fulton, of Franklin, NC; one daughter, Carolyn Rebecca Fulton of Beach Park, IL; one son, James Robert Fulton; one sister, Mary Bess Smith of Edgemore, SC; one brother, Wade Huffman Higdon of Franklin, NC; one grandchild, Audrey Gray of Franklin, NC; four great-grandchildren, Kristen Kana, Justin Gray, Benjamin Gray and William Gray all of Franklin, NC.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 20 at 2:00 PM at Higdonville Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Hawkins and Rev. Lester Evans officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Justin Gray, John Gray, Donnie Holden, Larry Houston, Bill Bowman and Denton Higdon will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 19 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home in Franklin where the body will remain until placed in the Church thirty minutes prior to the service.
