Grat Lorenzo Rosazza

Mr. Grat L. Rosazza, 97, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024. Mr. Rosazza was born June 24, 1927, in Bedford, Virginia to the late Grat Rosazza and Berta Jones Rosazza.

Grat was a retired music teacher where he was the Choral Conductor and a tennis pro teacher in Florida. He had a master's degree in music from Princeton University. He loved football (FSU), but his greatest passion was directing and conducting music. Grat was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation. Grat also served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Diane M. Rosazza; daughter, Christa H. Annesi; two grandchildren, David A. Annesi and Devin A. Merritt; two great-grandchildren, Pearl G. Annesi and Drew O. Annesi; and a sister, Edley Updike.

In addition to his parents, Grat was preceded in death by a daughter, Nicole Annesi; and three siblings, Ellen R. Quarles, Estelle R. Gray, and Laura R. Ayers.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation. The family will greet friends following the service.
