H. W. "Lefty" Marsh

Hiawassee, GA - H. W. "Lefty" Marsh, age 91, of Hiawassee, GA passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Born in Lee Co., FL he was the son of the late Wesley and Bertha Hadcock Marsh. He was a veteran Merchant Marine serving during WWII, and was a contractor and builder.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Carol Kantz Marsh; two daughters, Cindy Landreth and husband Ron of Franklin, NC and Sandy Dickson and husband Jim of Cumming, GA; one niece, Marsha Cates and husband Stan of Jacksonville, AL; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Landreth Bass.

Memorial Services will be held Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Care Net of Macon County, 130 Bidwell St., Franklin, NC 28734.
