Heinz Robert Weiss

Franklin - Heinz Robert Weiss, age 82, of Clover Lane, Franklin, NC passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 at his residence. Born in Maerish, Czechoslovakia, he was the son of the late Moritz Schoenberg Weiss and Gisela Abendroth Weiss. He was married to Ursula Luise Sicha Weiss for fifty-nine years. He was a wine distributor; worked in real estate and data processing. He was a participant in the Macon Senior Games as a swimmer and a member of Franklin Health and Fitness Center.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Jeanette G. Weiss and husband Nick Logori of Tampa, FL; one son, Ronald Michael Weiss and wife Jeannie Lee of San Diego, CA; four grandchildren, William Charles Sylvester Stephens III, Christina Cancel, Ryan Michael Weiss and Joshua Nicholas Weiss. One great-grandchild, Tobias Cancel, also survives.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Vic Greene officiating. Instead of flowers donations to Angel Hospice, 170 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734 would be appreciated.
