Helen Mildred Lehew King

Highlands, NC -Helen Mildred LeHew King, 108, of Highlands passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014. Born in Grundy County, MO, she was the daughter of the late James Clark and Martha Ellen Crawford LeHew. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Wallace King, who died July 23, 1993.

She was a bookkeeper for several years; was a member of Highlands First Baptist Church and was a Sunday school Bible teacher for several years.

Mrs. King is survived by one niece Georgia Helen Smith, one nephew, nephew Jerry LewHew of Western Colorado. She was preceded in death by a sister Kassie LewHew and a brother Clifton LewHew.

Graveside services will be held Saturday June 28, 2014 at Highlands Memorial Park. Dr. Mark Ford will officiate.
